SMART is working with a client in San Antonio, TX that is looking for an emergency medicine physician to provide locum coverage at their facility. Coverage is needed beginning in as soon as credentialed and will be ongoing until a permanent placement is secured. Cross-credentialing at system sites would be required.
Details Include:
–BC/BE Emergency Medicine or IM/FP w/EM experience
-Active TX license and DEA
– 37k annual volume
– ED Admission/transfer %: 16.18% / 1.75%
-Trauma Designation: Level 4
-Back-up Specialties: all that are standard for a large hospital
-8hr physician shifts
– ACLS, BLS (unless not ABEM/AOBEM – then need current ATLS)
-EMR: Cerner
–SMART covers malpractice, travel and accommodations
