SMART Physician Recruiting, a nationwide agency, is working with a client in New Jersey seeking an Anesthesia Locum physician’s coverage.Emergency Privileges available
Qualifications:
- New Jersey license
- BC/BE
Job Summary:
- Cases: General, B&B, Endoscopy, Ortho, Cath, IR
- FT Availability Only
- 10-hour shift days, minimum of 4 days per week Monday-Friday
- No Call
- 37 Physician/ 24 CRNA Care Team Model
- Cases include B&B – general, OB, peds
- Wide variety of cases including ortho, spines, and active OB practice, watchman procedures
- Approx. 500 Cardiac cases including valves, aortic surgery, mitral clips and growing Cath Lab and Cardiology Department
- No trauma, pain or transplants
- Physicians take in-house calls and have post call day off. For example: If on call on Wednesday night, you don’t come in until 6:00 PM (on Wednesday). You then leave at 7:30AM on Thursday and don’t get back till Friday morning. Weekends are shared equally and are 24 hours in house
- Pediatric trained attendings take peds call for any infant less than 1 year or cases that on call attending is not comfortable with. Peds call (from home) is less than 15%
- Cardiac physicians have separate call schedules as well as pediatric fellows for cases under 1 year of age
