Competitive Pay Rates and BONUS
Typical Daily Model, but sometimes has an extra provider for PRN:
-1-2 MDs
-4-5 CRNAs
-+7th PRN provider some days
Case Types: ~7,000 cases per year – NO OB ;; Mostly ophthalmology ~2000, ENT ~600, Gen ortho ~1200 – joint replacements, spines; Also general, urology, GYN, ped dental ~100, cosmetics, podiatry
Required Experience: lower extremity, brachial plexus blocks, peds (very small % of cases are peds but need to be comfortable), peripheral nerve catheters
Types of Peds at ASCE: tonsils/adenoids, ear tubes, some septos for broken noses, some arms surgery for reconstruction or broken bones
Less than one year of age is evaluated by anesthesia case by case except ear tubes.
Age range: 6 months+ but typically age range 3+
