Locum Job Opportunity
SMART is actively recruiting for a locum Emergency Medicine Physician to provide coverage for a client of ours in Ohio.
Qualifications:
- License requirements: Active Ohio License
- Certification requirements: ACLS, ATLS, PALS
- Any additional requirements specific to job (i.e. specific availability, specific certifications, etc.) 24 hour shifts
Job Summary:
• When does the locum assignment need to begin?: 1/31/2026• Is the locums need short or long term?: long term (6+ months)

• Please provide the number of shifts that locums will cover per month.: 144 hours shift amount depends if provider is doing 24s

• Please select all acceptable Board Certifications:: ABEM/AOBEM, ABFM, ABIM/AOBIM
• Who responds to Codes?: EM team
Requirements & Certifications
• Will temporary or emergency privileges be granted?: Yes
• Will the hospital release their application and process pending license?: Yes
• if not Board Certified, years of eligibility defined by facility?: 5

• Please select all required life support certifications: ACLS, ATLS, PALS

Additional Information
Licensed providers only. Life certs are not needed if EM certified
• Need COI’s – current and last five years. Timeline is Medical school to present with contact information. Temporary privileges are granted for emergency basis only. All files go through regular committee process. Case logs required last 24 months.
