SMART Physician Recruiting is actively recruiting for Onsite General +IR+ Nuclear Medicine Radiologists to provide Locum coverage for a client of ours in Florida.
Coverage Need: 17 weeks annually
Qualifications:
• Active FL License or Active IMLC
• Board Certified
Job Summary:
• Schedule – M-F 9A-5P 17 WEEKS OF COVERAGE NEEDED
• Ongoing onsite general rad (30%) +IR and nuc med needed M-F 9a-5p EST. All major/minor holidays if applicable.
Coverage Need: 17 weeks annually
-Poinciana operates as a high ED-driven imaging site with the majority of volume consisting of plain radiography and CT, particularly CT abdomen/pelvis and CT head for trauma and stroke evaluations. Ultrasound volume is primarily OB/pelvic and abdominal studies, with smaller contributions from MRI, nuclear medicine, and limited interventional procedures.
High ED-driven imaging volume with heavy portable CXR and MSK trauma radiographs
CT-dominant workflow with frequent CT abdomen/pelvis, CT head, and trauma spine imaging
Regular stroke and vascular imaging, including CT head stroke and CTA head/neck and chest
Routine OB/GYN and abdominal ultrasound, including pelvic/TV and RUQ/renal studies
Advanced imaging and light IR support, including coronary CTA/calcium scoring, limited MRI
CR, CT, US, MR, NM, FLUORO, IR
High-Volume: X-ray (45%) & CT (40%) – Trauma/Stroke focus. Specialized: US (10%) – OB/Vascular. IR/Procedures (<2%): Paracentesis, central lines, biliary drainage, biopsies. Others (<5%): MRI, Fluro, Nuc Med.
