SMART is actively recruiting for a locum Interventional Radiologist to provide coverage for a client of ours in Upstate New York.
Qualifications:
- License requirements: New York License
- Certification requirements: Board Certification
- Any additional requirements specific to job (i.e. specific availability, specific certifications, etc.) ACLS/BLS certification is required (BLS not required if ACLS is active)
Job Summary:
- Shift times: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (8 hours with 1 hour lunch break)
- Call Details (if applicable): No Call
- Case types (if applicable):
- Additional details: Average Patient Volume: 5 to 8 patients/day
Procedures Required: Biopsy, Drainage, Tube placement, Line placement, Nephrostomies, Biliary drainages, Arterial angiograms (if possible)
Imaging Modalities: X rays, CT, Ultrasound
Case Mix: 60% IR / 40% DX (some DX is required) - Additional Details: APP Coverage: None
Physician Coverage: Other IR/DX physicians. Experience with Phillips angio suites preferred - EMR: Epic
