SMART is actively recruiting for a locum Emergency Medicine Physician to provide coverage for a client of ours in Louisiana. 

Qualifications:

• License requirements:  LA license
• Certification requirements:  ABEM / ABFM / ABIM
• Any additional requirements specific to job (i.e. specific availability, specific certifications, etc.) ACLS, BLS, PALS and ATLS

Job Summary:

• Shift times: MD: 6a – 4p, 12 p – 10p, 8p- 6a;
• Call Details (if applicable): N/A
• Case types (if applicable):  What specialty backup is available?: Internal Medicine, Cardiology
• Additional details: What is the annual patient volume?: 25000
  What is the total number of hospital beds?: 75
  How many ED beds?: 21
  What is the patient volume per hour?: 2
  Are scribe services offered?: no
• Additional Details:  Who responds to Codes?: EM team, HM team, Locums
  Supervision Responsibilities?: APC
• EMR: EPIC
