Locum Job Opportunity

SMART is actively recruiting for a locum Hospitalist to provide coverage for a client of ours in Mississippi. 

Qualifications:

• License requirements:  Active unrestricted MS medical license and DEA w/ MS address & Schedules 2,2N,3,3N,4 & 5
• Certification requirements:   Board certified in internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• Any additional requirements specific to job (i.e. specific availability, specific certifications, etc.):  
  • ACLS Required
  • Immunizations: Flu vaccine: Must be within the same year | Covid
  • Case Log: Documentation of case logs for the past 2 years.
  • Proof of CME's for the past 2 years.

Job Summary:

• 7 Day On/Off Schedule
• Shift times: Day: 8 Physicians and 3 NPPAs (7a-7p)
  Swing: 1 Physician (Noon-Midnight?time may vary depending on
  patient volume)
  Night: 2 Physicians (7p-7a); 1 NPPA (7p-7a)
• Additional details: 
  • HM Physicians respond to Codes and RRTs
  • No procedures required
• Additional Details:
• EMR: EPIC
