SMART is working with a client in Virginia that is in need of Emergency Medicine physicians to provide locum coverage. Coverage is needed as soon as credentialed.
Details Include:
- Annual Patient Volume: 42,705
- High Acuity
- EM also has Fast Track
- Patients per Hour: 1.59
- ED Bed Count: 340 Hospital – 80 EM
- 25% admission rate
- Shift Times / Coverage: 63hrs variable
- APC Hours of Coverage: 21 Variable
- Scribe Coverage: No
- EMR (both for patient charting and order entry): Meditech
- Admitting Orders: Is the ED Physicians responsible for writing the orders? No
- Trauma Center Designation: level 2
- Separate PEDS EM
- Extensive back up specialties
