SMART is actively recruiting for a Massachusetts licensed locums physician to provide coverage for a client of ours just minutes outside of Boston. Coverage is needed as soon as you are on boarded.
Qualifications:

• License requirements: MA 
• Certification requirements: BC/BE
• Any additional requirements specific to job: Case logs, OB experience required. MDs perform their own cases while on call, beeper call preferred

• Shift times: 4-5 day shifts per week. 
• Call Details: Night Shift 4p-7a, weeknights, CRNAs backup on weekends.
• coverage model: 12 FT Physician/ 6 FT  Anesthetist Care Team Model
  1:3 supervision
• Daily coverage:
  • Cambridge- 6 Locations T-F + 5 on M; IH Call for OB + Pager Call.
  • Somerville- Endo Suite. 2 rooms run daily 7a-5:30p. No call
  • Everett- 2 locations M-F. 1 PHY Pager Call. No OB.
• Case types: G/I and General, OB, Some Cardiac, no Trauma, healthy peds Endo
• Patient Volume: Cambridge = 5K per year, Everett = 3k per year & Somerville = 3k per year
• EMR: Epic
