SMART is actively recruiting for a locum OB Hospitalist to provide coverage for a client of ours in Merced, CA. Coverage is needed as soon as credentialed and ongoing during permanent recruitment.
Qualifications:

• Active CA License and DEA required.
• BC/BE OB/GYN
• Must be available for at least 1, 24hr shift per month.

• Shift times: 24hr in-house call beginning at 8a
• Call Details: Call is in-house with 2nd OB in the community available as backup.
• Coverage Model: MD only staff at this time.
• Required procedures: C/Sections, Operative Vaginal Deliveries, D&C, Laparotomy/ Laparoscopy for emergency Gyn surgery
• Annual Patient Volume: 1000
• 15% of births are c-sections
• Avg. 200 deliveries per month
• Avg. GYN surgeries per week: 2
• EMR: Cerner
